Every work of art has a conceptual content, but also a "personal" history related to the experience of the people that in some way came into contact with it.

I dedicate this section of the site to the memory of Ivan and Lisa:

All the paintings on display, realized between the years 2000-2008, were made mostly with brushes that belonged to them.

• Ivan is a boy who died suddenly at the age of just 27. His parents, after his tragic death, wanted to bequeath the easel and brushes with which he used to paint.

Lisa is one of my dearest friends, who sadly left us at the age of 26, after an exhausting fight against the disease. She was a brilliant artist too, she gave me just before she died a canvas and two fine sable brushes. On that canvas I made a painting dedicated to her ... beautiful and incomplete like her life.

Facing each new painting holding the brushes belonged to them, make sure that they, in some sort, involving the paintings that I create, renew in me the awareness of the high degree of moral responsibility that I have as artist. Every talent received as gift must be placed at the service of others, so the artist does not paint for himself, but to make a contribution to the growth of humanity.

The works that I create will survive after me. No need to capture myself, but to share with the others the victories and achievements obtained in this life.
